I thought a PP had to have 10 items and APG was 8?

Wackynut, Sorry about your dog. It's heartbreaking I know, but you just know it's for the best. Decisions like this will always hurt. Just think of all the goods times you've had with her. :A
Scamps, it's a long shot but here's what I did with my laptop.
I had one that got stuck in a reboot circle (I think it was getting too hot) and it just couldn't get to the initial start up screen (or something to that effect). Basically it just wouldn't fire up. Fully charged it and still nadda, it was pretty bust
I was cursing at losing all my files so left it and forgot about it for ages.
I found it recently while tidying up and so whacked it back on charge and when it was done tried firing it up and it worked. We don't know if leaving it for a few months did the trick or not but I now have a fully functioning laptop again :j and the first thing I did was back everything up to disc
I know it probably doesn't help youjust thought I'd share

The worst thing is that we all prepared for it today. My eldest 2 said their goodbyes before going to work this morning. At least we have a couple more day to spoil her as best we can.N1LDA0 -
:doh:Morning All
Someone posted the link earlier in the week for the Christmas cake recipe. I used this recipe last year and it was fab however I didn't save the link
If anyone has the link I would be eternally grateful as everyone loved this one and would like to make it again.

Morning everyone.
No picture this morning from me as today is not a good day for me.
My German Shepherd, Misty, who has been a big part of my life for the past 13 years, is being put to sleep this morning.
This is one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make and although in my heart I know I'm doing the right thing, I feel so bad.
Instead of a picture, I thought I'd post this poem;
When God had made the earth and sky,
The flowers and the trees.
He then made all the animals,
The fish, the birds and bees.
And when at last He'd finished,
Not one was quite the same.
He said, "I'll walk this world of mine,
And give each one a name."
And so He traveled far and wide
And everywhere He went,
A little creature followed Him
Until its strength was spent.
When all were named upon the earth
And in the sky and sea,
The little creature said, "Dear Lord,
There's not one left for me."
Kindly the Father said to him,
"I've left you to the end.
've turned my own name back to front
And called you dog, my friend."0 -

You could try taking the HDD out and using an external adaptor to hook it up to another machine, this will then see the drive as an external drive and not as a booting one.
You would need something like this http://www.ebuyer.com/165982-startech-sata-usb-external-hard-drive-dock-black-satdocku2gb
As mentioned by others depends on how much the photos are worth if you want to buy this item. Best thing to do is not do anything else to the HDD as it could go over the data that is on there but if only doing system restore it should only touch the Windows system folder.
Good luck0
