Still got a box of savvy wine tucked away but not easy to reach it ;-)
As it happens I will go root around to find a bottle of bubbly for this Friday as my wife finally got her UK citizenship this week - married 13 years but UKBA is hopeless I must say (or at least our case officer was), the qualification is 3 years
We had to appeal getting turned down which could have cost us £900, took a few Squills letters to get there but finally got a senior bod who knew his onions, my next step would have been to get my local MP on board who is a mate of mine (his son is my 8 year old daughter's 'boyfriend' in class :rotfl:). In the event: no need.
Not sure if we have got anything white & bubbly left but I know for sure we have a few of those pink ones left, whatever they were called! :beer:0 -
With thanks to D Flash on FB

The answer to the question is simple... eat them.... yummy!

Sadly not WMC, the only way you would get a cash refund is if you paid in cash in the first place.
All is not lost though, you will get a nice shiny giftcard, not as good as cash but much better than wombles as no time limit to spend and can spend the amounts you want rather than the womble amount.
It is a good way to turn wombles into giftcards...;)
Just back from A. All items returned and refunded onto my credit card, the card I used to pay 12p of which I was short in wombles.
CSA was very busy answering phones whilst dealing with me so very kindly refunded me each single item price rather than the multibuy price resulting in a £21.96 refund for £11 paid :T :beer:0 -

But why are codes not allowed on this thread, but are allowed on others!
Can someone put me out of my misery please
:j:j
I'm not sure of the detail but I think it runs:
Retailers & brand owners were getting upset at this thread robbing them blind with codes etc...
MSE values its relationship with said retailers and brand owners...
Let's calm down the situation: no more codes, everybody happy.0 -

Does anyone actually know the answer to that??? Flo?
I didn't understand why when I was at school covering mine in gaudy wallpaper and I still don't understand it now
On top of not understanding why they need to be covered at all, but still having to do it, Ive got a rather confusing message to cover a pink jotter in something different coloured because it shouldn't be pink?
Lol, not in my class up to the child if they want to, I would prefer not to be honest.:rotfl:0 -

AFAIK there is only 1 thread on MSE where discount voucher/MOC coupon codes are permitted.
There is a sticky about it on the top of the Grabbit board. The reason, I believe is because in the past, MSE was threatened with legal action
Discount codes and vouchers
We are happy for forum users to share codes, however they are only allowed on the Discount Codes 'n Vouchers Board. They must be sourced and it must indicate who the code/voucher is targeted at. Any posts not meeting these rules are removed when reported and persistent posters banned from the site. It's only by doing this that we can protect people from legal action or breaching terms and conditions. Please don't private message other people requesting codes.
There are lots of vouchers out there on the web, ready and able to give you discounts. The vouchers and codes in our Shopping Voucher and Supermarket Coupons deals notes have all been checked with the firms concerned.
Codes and discussions that aren't currently permitted, and which are removed when reported include: Sainsbury's, La Redoute and Vertbaudet discount codes.
