  • No way !!!! Tell us more pretty pleasi !

I feel a bit sick too Mrs S, though could be all the Jaffa cakes I've eaten! Did you see I posted this in error on the main Grabbit board and redfox kindly moved it for me

Lol, school boy error. Good job redfox is on the ball ;):D

Not sure if the rest of the story should be put here (hope no one gets offended) :)
After I had declined the very generous offer of someone cleaning my shoes with his tongue. He then handed me his telephone and said " can you speak to my mistress" being the nosy person that I am I took his phone. :D I had a woman barking down the phone at me insisting I let her slave lick my shoes. Again declining the offer she offered me money:rotfl: alas I declined again and said that I really wasn't interested. I gave the phone back as the "slave" then got an earful down the phone. He mumbled something about not being a failure and left :rotfl:
Was a very interesting moment :D:rotfl:

  • Possibly the codes have all been claimed, or maybe my phone doesn't like me today. Never mind, I have pizza :j I'm a happy girl today :)

Yes pizza is good - lots of cheap pizza! Have you tried them yet? Jeez they are really filling. We pimped them up with mushrooms, onions and peppers and I was struggling after 3rd slice.

Can I just ask a quickie.

Has anyone used Agoda before for hotel bookings. Just haven't heard of them and they are coming up with some really cheap prices on a deal I am looking at.

I tend to think if something looks too good to be true then it usually is:o

I've used them before TM and they were fine.
    Hope is not a strategy.

So this is the response I had form MSL this morning re the lack of anything on the cashback list.

How can they tighten it up
    - make the monthly limit lower??
    - make the ammounts pitiful like on Topcash and Quidco?
    What else?

I was only using it for a couple of weeks ...

"Thanks for your email! I'll explain why you can now see a reduced number of Cashback offers.

Cashback is one of our greatestfeatures. We want to reward shoppers for being savvy so select items which you really want and attach a Cashback value that is really worth having. It is our way of helping your money go further on your weekly shop.

Unfortunately we have temporarily taken some Cashback offers off because a small minority of users have been attempting to unfairly take advantage- so we are having to tighten up how we run our Cashback schemes. We're looking to make it better for everyone, so please bear with us! The good news is, we're working really hard on this and will have new Cashback offers up soon.

If you can hold out until then, it will be worth it! The app is also a great way to help you organise and compare your shopping, even without Cashback- so you can still use it whilst Cashback is revamped!"

Thank you Flo. I'm going with Expedia who guarantee to match prices. The deal is exactly the same so hopefully Expedia will pay up the difference:)

Don't forget to get cashback then ( there's none on Agoda) or better still, see if it's on hotels.com who are part of the same group - they price the same as Expedia but you can get cashback and their welcome rewards - brilliant!

Good luck with the price matching though, they all try it on with that one.
    Hope is not a strategy.
  • A few years back there was a thread, probably on here, about people getting astronomical prices for old 'well worn' shoes on ebay - fetishists were abundant! I had some extremely weird messages from prospective buyers on ebay when I tried it but sadly didn't sell any at high prices - guess I didn't know the lingo to use. :)

I used to know a shoe fetishist once - he always was interested in my shoes (I was a bit of an Imelda Marcos) He always wanted to drink champagne from them BUT YUCK! OMG they'd be wet afterwards! lol

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'll PM the lingo of my listing (jokin') :rotfl:
