When I was shopping yesterday to use up a couple of apgs.I bought a few extra items so I thought I would use another one that I had on me.Went to a nice little sa that I've been to before. She said thats 1p.So I gave her 1p.Then she said no its minus 1p.So I said well I better put a chewing gum on it then. She said. You don't want that stuff.I got on my dress once and had to put it in the freezer to get it off.She then said I'll call the supervisor to overide it.So while we were waiting we had a discussion on chewing gum, carrier bags aNd other things that were bad for the environment. The supervisor came over and did an overide without even looking at what was what.I didn't bother to ask for my penny back:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The ones I'm looking at are on MSM, I don't have MSL so can't help out there.

  • Evening all,

    Well I passed!! :j
Now I actually have to drive on my own...:rotfl: well I will have my LO for company most of the time. Thanks for all your encouraging words when I first started my lessons, only took me about 3 months. I am well happy and my OH took us all out for dinner to celebrate, bless him, cost him a fortune :)

Hello everyone hope its been a good day

I am back in functioning order after being off colour last night - sometimes I think you just need a reminder to start looking after yourself, put your own health first and to be kind to yourself - not easy, 30 years of looking after elderly parents and children and ailing partners and cats etc - well you forget to look after yourself :)

Anyway OH has agreed that we need to eat down the freezer and he says he may even try some of my fish finger stash with tomato sauce  YEs miracles do happen.

So we have been having 3 just about NSD - apart from a newspaper on Sunday and on Monday I got a stamp, potatoes and a French stick - from the local Nisa and Spar so at least I was spending money with local businesses.

But then I remembered OH needed £20 and I paid the window cleaner £30 so its not been a no spend week after all ... Never be rich at this rate :(

you think you've done ok in the spending stakes and then you remember- I've spent over £700 since Friday and I am :eek::eek:

Right now, alls I've got to show for it are some tops and 2 pairs of shoes :o

Oh and 6 months worth of porridge :rotfl::rotfl:

But I do have "hidden" stuff like my credit card being paid off and my flights for May, but when you've spent so much, you want something to show for it :o
