I always took mine up the local place too. 6 years of sitting at side of pool. Nearly jumped over the balcony one day. When other swim teacher was throwing the kids in and grabbed my DD and did the same. She screamed the place down. She doesnt like to be touched. he was in the water with his class. And decided to start flinging the other class about as well.
I could see it in slow motion and Im shouting Nooooooooooooooooooooo over the balcony. Never run so fast in my life downstairs and straight in the door. She was howling !! (She was 11)

It's very easy to feel guilty when your not working. I'm fortunate enough that I didn't have to go back to work after ds was born. We make ends meet by hosting students instead. It's a pain in the bum at times but it means that I get to spend everyday with my boy. I'm lucky and I know it. When ds is settled in nursery then I'm defo thinking about getting a little part time job doing something. In not fussed what, money is money.
Defo won't be returning to what I used to do though.
If you can manage financially then why not! My maternity pay stopped in July and we are struggling I found you all just in time saving so much money even though I try to stay sensible!
I'm quite lucky in that my job does pay well most of the time so I'm hoping to just be part time
Thank you0 -
