It's very easy to feel guilty when your not working. I'm fortunate enough that I didn't have to go back to work after ds was born. We make ends meet by hosting students instead. It's a pain in the bum at times but it means that I get to spend everyday with my boy. I'm lucky and I know it. When ds is settled in nursery then I'm defo thinking about getting a little part time job doing something. In not fussed what, money is money.
Defo won't be returning to what I used to do though.
I keep saying that when i start to look for a job I'd either like to work in next to get first dibs on sale items instead of standing in the cold at 4 am or working in sada so I'm there when the glitches happen:rotfl:0 -

BB I downloaded the app and registered but there are no points on there, even when I log out and back in again. Even going through on the magicfreebies link I can't see any way to get the 500 points.
Am I missing something?:o
Probably!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -

Might go and see if I can find these BNI pizzas  plus 4 different sides. Meaning I only will need 5 different fillers, correct?:o0 -
I managed to get a couple oF bni pizza deals and may go again tommorow. Just need to tidy freezer to fit them in.
Well the wedding at the weekend went quite well I suppose. The sun shone, everyone looked lovely, we went as a family( oh dd and ds)and everyone was amazed at my weight loss. had a lovely day eating but back on track now until Friday for DS's wedding.
However my sis aunt and I had talked to Mum about only coming to the reception as she is quite immobile now but of course as soon as eldest sis arrived on Wednesday that all changed.
We backed off and just said well over to you. I drank very little alcohol as I was driving my family home ( oh left early as he finds it difficult being around drink) and my younger sis is teetotal. However last time a niece got married my older sis had too much to drink , went home early was dreadfully sick and missed the evening do( which apparently was our fault for not fetching her back)
After a time at the reception Mum went indoors ( it was at my brothers house) and sis carried on drinking. My younger sis made some remark about people going indoors ( my brother had asked that the house be kept private and my sis was only telling the elder one this)
This descended into a slanging match in the reception and no matter how I tried I could not make them stop. Then older sis decided we wanted Mum out and flounced off to get the car. So I went and got my brothers to stop her as she had drunk 3 champagne glasses and nearly a bottle of wine. She drove the cvar up to front of house to pick Mum up so I just removed the keys and told her no ( its my car that I am trying to sell and I lent it to her whilst she is home) She shouted and swore at all of us and eventually my older brother sent them home in a taxi.
However she does not feel she should apologise and wont even speak about it.
its ds wedding this week, dd is really depressed and I dont think I can take much more. They want Mum to have overnight care so I told younger sis today that they had better get more than that as I am done. Younger sis said she will call a meeting of all of us next week. They all seemed to think it is about money but its not. If I give up I will lose £150.00 a week but I dont really care just want my life back.
Sorry for the rant.0 -

I started a course at university 1 afternoon per week to become a primary teacher whilst still working...I lasted 6 weeks then discovered I was pregnant with DD:rotfl: no more university for me:(
Now mummy full time...I often wonder what it would be like if I had continued throughout my pregnancy and afterwards.... I would be like floflo now with my own little class of darlings:D
I am looking forward to it. Sometimes though I panic and think what on earth was I thinking :rotfl:
I squeezed my masters degree in between DD and DS2 and DS1 was only little so if I managed then Im sure I'll manage again. I somehow seemed much more organised back then
You should think about going back to it later if you still fancy it......never too late0
