thats the best but of course you need an oyster
with the 2-for-1 you just need a paper ticket for the day of travel, only 1 per 2 people, show with the voucher available online.

Buyagift.co.uk do day outings etc on the London Eye. You could have a look at the site below for voucher codes and see how much you can get off. If not you might find something else you fancy.

I'm not saying it's the cheapest way, but you can get tickets for the London Eye from AIRMILES. 200miles/Adult and 110miles/Child.
It's a different way to use your miles, and even if you're not already a collector, you can convert Tesco clubcard points into AIRMILES at a rate of 60 miles per £2.50 voucher. That works out to be £8.34 of vouchers for an adult flight, so approx equivalent to double up value (although the conversion rate does mean that depending how many tickets you are booking, you may have to convert more miles than you actually need).
The only thing to note is that you need to be thinking about this in advance, as the transfer clubcard -> airmiles can take 'up to 28 days' and then airmiles can take 14 days to send your voucher.
Also, the London Eye is included in the attractions on the Merlin Annual Pass (also available from Tesco Deals). That is only a good idea if you're interested in more than just the eye of course;)
EDIT: Just noticed this method is already mentioned above, however as I went to the trouble of getting my calculator out, I'm loathe to delete it0
