IDEM Servicing Default Notices - Advice Please

  • Just a thought but some Companies love to intimidate!
Some of the 'supposed' Default notices, are nothing more than annoying 'letters'! They are not genuine DF notices! They will not tell you that they are not genuine !
Take it to a Law Centre (often within your local CAB) and ask if it genuine!
It's a disgusting thing to do to ppl.
Remember too that if you can (& you might not be able to) but when you get nearer to the end of your repayments... many Companies will agree to only 30% of the original sum owed, thus helping you to get out of debt much more quickly. So they may agree enough is paid to end it OR agree a far lower sum is then owed, thus shortening your longer term agreement.
I had one Company reduce it's fee but I think looking back it was to get around potentially getting around 'an issue' that would probably have written it off altogether!?
