Is Rafflecopter breeding?!

Now I know many people enter and win from the Rafflecopter comps, but I for one don't do them, just because of all the effort and daily faffing involved.
But is it just me, or are there millions of them around at the moment? Most of my pages have red x's on them because most of the page is rafflecopter comps!
Where have they all suddenly come from?!

Hi Mum2
Have been thinking the same thing lately, especially with the new daily ones. I very rarely enter them.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
I used to have an aversion to Rafflecopter but now I really like them. Some of them do seem to have so many pages to like or people to follow on Twitter though.
I'm running a competition on my blog's Facebook page using Rafflecopter (I obviously can't put it on here because it would be self-promotion.) and the only mandatory step is to like the FB page. The only other step after that (which is optional) is to follow me on Twitter. I can't be doing with adding loads of other steps for entrants to adhere to as I know how annoyed I get when I have to like loads of pages or follow loads of people!2019 Wins

Thanks LadyM, see now if the only things to do were to like/follow on FB and TW I would enter more, but I feel that in order to stand a chance we kind of have to jump through all the hoops and retweet every day and all that faff, I haven't the time and I also think the majority of rafflecopter prizes are quite small and really not worth the effort.StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0

Agree with all that's been said above.
And yes, I've noticed a lot more of them.0 -
Well I am choosing between changing my user name to either:
Rafflecopter or
Link to daily's Thread
Because that's what I am doing every day 70% of the time I'm on the forum :rotfl:
I don't think there are any more Rafflecopter competitions than before I think people on the forum are getting better at finding them because all the ones I have posted or linked to the daily's thread all have on their blogs previous comps that have finished, so have actually been holding comps for quiet some time.
I always post even the very small win ones I find because you just don't know how many people could do with a new extra mam feeding bottle or bib

I will do Rafflecopters if the prize is worth winning but I just do the tweet while I'm entering, I don't tweet day after day for more entries. Sometimes if I can't be bothered to faff about, I just do the Facebook like so I'm in the draw.:beer:0

I'm the same, except I don't always bother to follow on twitter or tweet at all, I often just do the facebook likes unless it's a really good prize. I've won a few rafflecopters recently as well using this method.
On a related point, I don't think I have ever seen as many comps, mostly RC, for the same prize as there have been for the Jack the Giant Killer DVD. The promoter seems to have given copies to every blogger around to give away!0 -
I used to be sceptical of rafflecopters but I decided last month to start entering a lot more. I've won 5 since then. I don't ever do any of the facebook entries and if I'm comping on my computer (normally on my tablet) I'll do the daily tweets aswell.January Wins - Signed Higgidy Cookbook, Koala

I'm using Rafflecopter on my blog for a giveaway (obviously can't post the link either). I LOVE how you can customise the options.
What I don't like is when bloggers put RC, but they make the first 4 steps mandatory, without marking them as so on the RC widget.
As a general rule, if a blog comment is mandatory I won't bother unless I really want something. I stick to following on Twitter and also liking on FB.I like to make money

I don't mind rafflecopter comps, I tend to pick and choose which options I want to do, often forget to do the daily retweets unless its something I really really want.
I'd like to see a reason why the draws are redrawn sometimes. I went through 5 rafflecopters recently - all finished - all redrawn! I do wonder if its because all steps are not completed.... who knows."Knowledge will give you power, but character respect" ~ Bruce Lee0
