'Meant to Be/Perfectly Timed' Competitions

Hi All

Bit of a random post but would love to hear if anyone else had spooky or perfectly timed wins.

Mine is in February I won a holiday to Antigua (going next month!) on one of the Mag dailies. A few weeks later I was in a cafe that has lots of books for sale and as I was browsing I noticed a book had been put back upside down.
As I can't stand mess I just had to move it and when I picked it up I looked at the description. When I looked the book was about a woman who won a dream holiday to Antigua. :rotfl:
I had to buy it and I will be taking it on holiday with me.

I still find it weird even now.

Anyone else have any weird stories etc?

Last week I said to my hubby how I wanted to win a New Look giftcard so that I could treat myself to some new clothes (all our money pretty much goes on our little one so don't really get to treat ourselves.) Later that day I won £250 of Lavish Alice clothing!

Earlier this year I won 4 Alton Towers tickets, when we'd already got a work outing arranged - they arrived about a week before we went

Will have a bit of think as I'm sure I've had a few well-timed wins but can't think of any off the top of my head!

Edit: Thought of another one!! We're off to Disneyland Paris this month (a win - can't wait!) and have been looking to buy some 2nd hand princess dresses for my daughter to wear when we're there - got a twitter win a couple of weeks ago for a child's fancy dress outfit of my choosing

Had just taken a whole term of evening classes in Venetian Art and then won a 7-ngt trip to Venice with a mineral water company (long defunct brand) within a few days of the course ending. That was spooky and rather wonderful. Dragged my other half round loads of churches and galleries seeing stuff I'd only just studied in class
