Yes, basically - I'd have it with jacket potatoes or mash although it would be fine on its own or with bread and butter. Jazz it up with herbs and it could be a kind of bolognese over pasta."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

Stuff the belly pork with the stuffing and roll up, would make it go further. Use the berries and some apples if you have them, with the pastry to make a berry pie to fill everyone up after say a light tea of chicken soup made with the chicken carcass. Use the rest of the pastry to make a mince pie and maybe a chicken pie with the pickings from the chicken after roasting it maybe.
Or instead of roasting it whole, you could joint it and use say the breasts for one meal and freeze the other portions if you don't feel like chicken all week.0 -

I make a batch of savory mince once a month, it is then eaten with rice, on jacket spuds or a cobbler, basicly a scone mix cut into rounds and cooked on top of the mince in the oven, very filling, and serve with cabbage and lashings of beef gravy.today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

What is in your store cupboard? Do you keep things like rice, pasta, tomato puree in it?Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Also, how many people are you feeding, and how long until you get paid again?0

There is web site that the students use for just such a situation. You enter all your items of food and it comes back with suggestions to cook/create something from them. I can't remember it but I'm sure someone will.0

If you could put the details Gingervamp mentioned - how many people it's for, a rough idea what you have in your store cupboard, how long it has to last - that would be grand as it helps with suggesting ideas.
It might be a good idea to take the time to do a quick cupboard audit - list what you have and then cross it off as you use it. Makes it easier to restock and all."We always find something, hey Didi, to give us the impression we exist?" Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot.
