just a rant - email provider shutting down their service

My email provider is shutting down their service in 2months which means I won't know if I have won any competitions that end after November 
How inconsiderate of them (!) and SO very annoying :mad:

How annoying for you
Not sure if it would work if the server is disappearing but you could try redirecting emails so they forward on to your new account. Like I say it might not work but no harm in trying!0 -
Can I ask which provider is that please? Perhaps you could start changing your email address now with comps as most that are running now end October at the latest?

My O2 email has been taken over by Sky and i've been given a new email address.
My O2 one still works though, but will only hold about 10 emails at a time- i just have to make sure i'm on top of the emails and delete regularly.
Is it O2 that your with?
Seems bad practice to completely shut down your email account.The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -
