The SS voucher works on reduced make up this time. I found a No7 lippie reduced to £2.50 and got it free with a [STRIKE]wombled[/STRIKE] voucher
The vouchers haven't worked on reduced items for a long time. But Mr is being extra generous this time
I also used 2 SS vouchers (current voucher and previous one from a couple of weeks ago) on £6 nail polish and it was also free0 -
Has anyone tried using a tillspit and a glossy yet? I was wondering if I bough 3 skincare items at £8 each and they are on 342 which means £16 to pay - can I use a £5 glossy and the £5 till spit to get a tenner off leaving £6 to pay for 3 items. A good deal even if it isn't as good as last time when 3 BB creams cost £3.42
What do you all reckon? Has anyone done it yet?0 -
I tried last week and it did not work for me so I am interested to know if it still works for anyone else.0

I went in store today to use my glossy vouchers, No7 skincare is 342 so I got two packs of face wipes and an eye make up remover for £10.50, not a massive bargain but pretty useful as I needed all that stuff, also got some exfoiliator stuff for £3 with another voucher.
I still don't know what the til spit SS thingy is all about... I've got two more glossy vouchers to use if someone could enlighten me0 -

The till spits are the equivalent of a glossy voucher. When you use a self service till it gives you your receipt and then spits out a voucher with £5 or £3 off No7. You are only supposed to use the voucher for EITHER £5 off or £3 off but the last time the vouchers were being given out the voucher was taking £8 off certain products. Last time round the SS tills were allowing us to use a glossy voucher and the till spit in the same transaction. We think Boots may have sorted their tills out now though so that both vouchers DON'T go through in the same transaction. We are waiting for someone to try using a till spit and a glossy in the same transaction - I think one person has said they tried and it didn't work. We need it confirming and that it wasn't just a one off.
Hope this helps.0 -
Has anyone managed to get both No7 vouchers (SS & shiny) to work?

Hello Sally06, unfortunately I don’t think anyone has had success using the glossy’s and TS together. So I’m thinking they have changed their voucher strategy.:( as eightieschick88 said these are sad days for us
while I am here the vouchers from the ACM do not seem to be working at the SS tills for items on offer. However some SA’s are doing manual reductions at the manned tills. With mixed results some will not reduce the price if the till does not allow, some will give the discount on the actual price before offers and some like the nice one I got today will give you the discount on the original price before offers. Today I got 25% off toothpaste coupon and a 10% of deodorants and the SA took the discounts off the original price and not the offer price.0 -
Hi folks
Tried using a till spit and a glossy at the weekend whilst trying to buy 3 hot cloth cleanser (342). Didn't work. SA came over to see what I was up to and pretended I thought because I was buying 3 I could use 2 vouchers. Paid £14.90 for 3 instead of £29.85.
By the way - the vouchers state that you can only use either the £5 or £3 glossy in one transaction. Not true. I bought 2 exfoliating sponges (classed as make up) and a toner in the same transaction and the SA put them all through on the same receipt and deducted 5 and 3 glossy. So the tills let it happen even though the T & C's say you cannot.
I spotted some double ended nail varnishes (£6) on the website but they didn't have them in store. I asked the SA who said they had had them in but perhaps they had been moved to store room as they don't have much room on shop floor. She checked and sure enough had loads so don't be frightened to ask for anything you cannot see on display as they are sometimes hidden.
In some stores the small pots of Vitamin E moisturiser is on 2 for £4 and 342 in the travel sized toiletries section so you can get 3 for £4 instead of £2.54 each.
£2.54
£2.54
3rd one is free
then deducts £1.08 for the 2 for £4 offer leaving £4 to pay.0 -
Thanks for trying the vouchers, ladies x
It's time to hang up my bootsing boots me thinks! I hardly go in there these days. Would be lovely if Mr B gave us a nice glitch for crimbo0
