Don't often rant...but really!

[IMG][/img]Whyohwhy.jpg

Why do people (in this case two of them) think it's OK to park in such a stupid, inconsidered and rude manner?

No, not a real question cos I know that they are stupid, inconsiderate and rude, just feels better to see it written down.

Another cup of coffee is needed.

    which two do you mean?

Sorry gers, I know the blue & silver are close together but it looks as though they are (just) inside the markings. The black one looks to have quite a bit of space to one side but then they might have had to park that far over as they may have been someone parked over the lines on the other side?

Plus, I don't know if there are any other spaces at all - how difficult is it to get a parking slot in your area?

I'm in the middle, parked perfectly in the middle of the space and unable to access my car from either door! The two others parked after I did. The black car has plenty of space on the other side... just cropped the photo.

Doesn't matter about being on the line, the silver one has blocked my driver door completely by not parking in the middle of the space and the black one just always drives in at an angle - often crossing the line with one wheel and half a car - and goes off.

Spaces are a premium and I have taken to parking somewhere else recently and walking a couple of hundred yard (good for me physically and emotionally), however yesterday I didn't.

No answer really, just wish people would take a few seconds to look at what they have done before going.:mad::mad:

Might be forced into watching Time Team this morning! :rotfl:

EDIT: Just seen the post above, shame you didn't reverse in you could have entered the vehicle by the hatchback, enjoy Time Team.

ah, see what you mean, if the silver car had parked front in, presumeably they didn't have passengers, they could have parked further over to give you more space.

Mind you, might they have said that because of the trees, they didn't want to run the risk of getting their car scratched? In that case whoever is responsible for the care of them may need to cut them back some.

it's difficult with a photo & also not seeing the 'lay of the land', so to speak.

Have you had a word with the black car driver Gers? maybe they don't realise how they sometimes leave it.

Thanks Chris - the silver car has plenty of room - I often park in the end space and, as a woman with a somewhat larger frame and a very dodgy right knee, I still find plenty of room to get in and out. It's just a matter of taking a little extra care. Reversing in is really the best way as that makes leaving so much easier.

There is a very low wall running around the seven bays, however at that side there are no bushes hiding it as there are on the other end.

Hey ho... the perils of city living. Happily not here for too much longer and this thread was just started to do a R.A.N.T. - no solution.

The solution are the super sticky labels that leave loads of residue telling them not to park like a prat and to consider others in the future.

I can see exactly what you mean. Yes, it's inconsiderate parking. This has happened to me on more than one occasion so now I leave a note on the windscreen of the offending car(s) asking them to leave me a can opener next time so I can access my vehicle! Although I've been driving for many, many years I'm not very confident with parking or reversing in to a space so I always get out and have a look at how I've parked and am I in the middle of the bay etc, etc.
