mortgage self employed/defaults

I am self employed and have been for 11 months, I work as a courier for a large company. I have 3 defaults which are around 3 years old nearly, no missed payments or any problems since.
I might be looking to buy a house for around 100k and would have a 50k depoit, I'm guessing i would need to use a broker, with a deposit of 50% in my circumstances do you think i have a good chance?

Almost certainly you will require a broker, as your lender selection is hugely restricted.
May be better to wait until you have at least 1 set of accounts though..
The rates should be sensible though..
