Please help, tiny tiny caterpillars in my home

Can anyone shed any light on what these are and where they have come from???
I have cream wardrobes in the bedroom and I've just found loads of very tiny caterpillar like things on the side of it.
They are about 1/8th of an inch, thread like with a round head and move like a worm / caterpillar.
I'm itching like crazy

I wondered that as we do have lots of moths but the google pics show a white caterpillar type thing, these were dark brown / black.

  • when you say you have a lot of moths - do you mean in the house? - this is unusual and would say you are on the right track if so

We get lots of moth around the back door and we find quite a few in the house.

Do you have any Raid spray?

I would spray the wardrobe well and room and close the door and leave it until tomorrow.

OR get "Flea Bombs" from ebay, follow instructions, and that will kill them off completely. How horrible for you :(
