Transferring mortgage to repayment

I would like to transfer our mortgage from a part repayment/interest mortgage to full repayment with first national (now GE)
Will this involve a further credit check? Have had mortgage with them 8 years & never missed a payment
We have passed affordability calculator with them.
Mortgage was with first national due to previous credit problems although they are resolved now hence wanting to change to repayment some poor credit still shows up on our credit files

Switching to a repayment basis merely involves a change of terms. So no credit checking or anything of that nature.
There''s no reason for the lender to decline your application. Totally the reverse in fact.0 -
You could check if you have any penalties for overpayment and if not simply overpay each month.I am a Mortgage Broker
