I am trying to find new ways to make a little extra money and have seen lots of ads on tv and in magazines for bingo sites and just wondered if anyone has tried any of these and are they a good way to make some extra cash.

Which ones are best and which ones should be avoided?

They are a good way to make extra money...at great risk to your own money. The chance of losing everything when you deposit is 6 out of 10. There is a few ways of making sure that percentage is as close to that as possible. The other times that you end up in profit you will not make enough back to cover your losses. Then about 1 in 100 you'll get a jackpot game prize to win enough to make it worth it. If you know the tricks used to make it worth it it's good...but most people lose out.

Avoid them all...

I personally like Tombola. You spend £4 a week (£2 from cash and £2 from bonus) which entitles you to play a free game. Every month or so that free game wins a few pounds back and every 6 months or so Tombola hands out free bonus money to everyone online My profit from that site is averaging about £1 per week..

Are you kidding? Gambling for profit? On a game of pure chance?

Don't do it, you will lose money - that is how bookmakers, betting shops and bingo sites make their money - by you losing!

Get over to the match betting board and look for threads with the word bingo in them, for ways to make some cash with no risk.

Wouldn't try to make money by actually playing bingo....but....if you join sites via Quidco and choose which ones carefully you can sometimes get more cashback than the amount you need to deposit, leaving you with a profit (as long as you make sure you meet all the terms and conditions). If you are lucky you might even make a little bit more if you have a win whilst playing through the initial deposit.

It's only really good if you're in it for fun. I'm signed up to a few, and they send offers through frequently. But if you stop putting money in at all they do slow/stop.

The chances of making long term profit is bad because the sites aren't silly. That said, if you do want it for fun then Paddypower and Mecca are the most generous to me.

Also Virgin has a free daily game which doesn't block you if you don't deposit.

As others have said, the real way to win is on cashback.

thanks for that rhial, i had forgot about the free virgin game, i'll make sure I do that in future
