Tesco - *good glitch* on Walker's crisps.

Two deals appear to be running concurrently.
6 pack multipacks on '5 for £5.50'
Also on 2 for £2 but both offers coming off total.
In effect you're getting 30 bags of Walker's for £2.78, as it takes 2.90 AND 2.72 off of the 8.40 total. Just over 9p a bag.
Chat on HUKD suggests it may only be northern stores. I tried in Rutherglen and it's definitely working.

It works better if you buy 10 packs as you get 10 packs for £4.20. It only works in the large stores it does not work in the Express stores. Also they have to be showing the offer of 5 for £5.50 as some stores it's only showing 2 for £2 and in those stores it does not work. Works in the larger store in East Kilbride :0)

Confused, you say it only works in large stores, then say it doesn't work in the Extra stores? The Extra stores are the big stores. Also, if it works in EK store then it must work in small ones too as both EK stores are small...

Hmm, maybe but at the end he/she says it works in East Kilbride, which is a small store.

Worked for me in a normal tesco earlier today.
bought 10 packets.
5 x classic 6 pack
2 x prawn cocktail (6 pack)
2 x quavers (6 pack)
1 x salt and shake (6 pack)
total cost was £5.56
receipt shows 2 discounts came off
Im in Scotland,not sure if its only working up this way.

Worked for me too - am in Scotland. Was working for me online too, so that's a good way of checking.

I only tried other walker varieties as i didnae fancy 10 packs of just the classics:)
Wonder if thats why mine seems to be a wee bit dearer than others who were getting 10 packs for £4.20(i think).Great price either way:D

Doesn't work in Tesco's Northcott Glengormley. They are 2 packs for £2.00. It is a Tesco Extra Store. Some packs were competition ones and other ordinary 6 packs
