A bit disappointing , but the cold meat is usually good quality and good for salads and sandwiches.

It's the first uninspiring selection I've seen for months so I shan't bother this time.

The X Bolt smells ok but i've had 2 bottles where the spray head has broken,you have to break the top off with pliers to get it out.

Although they've done that misleading marketing trick of interspersing normal priced items with the genuine offers, there're still 14 reductions including 2 litre bottles of Pepsi for 99p and 500g of steak mince for £2.49.

The ham at £2.29 kg is worth it. Would it freeze !!!

yes - most cold meats will freeze/defrost without any problems - though I would always split into individual portions before freezing.

BTW - If anyone is going for this offer , make sure you pick up the right products. The chicken is obvious , but there are 3 varyities of Ham that all look very much the same but only 1 is on the offer. Make sure it says "Smoked Ham" and not "Cooked Ham" or "Honey Roast Ham". My Lidl had them all mixed together ( with 2 different shelf edge labels showing the different prices ), and you had to go through the boxes looking for the correct ones

Thanks Dl.......they tried a similar "trick" on the half price mince a few weeks ago...put the expensive stuff alongside the offer, tho to be fair maybe the customers mixed them..
