Its probably a case of once bitten, but if Halifax are declining this i would be inclined to find another decent broker.
Why limit yourself to just one bank?
Good to hear they refunded the fee. The people we are hopefully buying off are getting twitchy, they are relying on us buying to complete a purchase themselves. I feel awful. Today is 3rd time lucky, I am off to my own bank and have a 2 hour appointment with the mortgage advisor there. He has said he will get the banks credit checking team on the phone to try and sort out this mess!!! I am not hopeful but at least I know I have tried!!!!0

How common is being turned down for multiple addresses with Halifax??? Our first mortgage is currently being processed and we've had 4 addresses in 3 years!!0
