I'm throwing money at my debt like it's going out of fashion and I'm finding myself going through a bit of a slump in my motivation to keep going- to the point I'm starting to get tempted in to spending again
Willpower will prevail but I need a bit of moral boast and a reminder of what you get when you work for it.
Please feel free to post, if you so wish:
Debt at LBM: £11500 Debt currently: £3950
If you've recently had your LBM post what you project your debt total will be in 12 months time

Some times you have to hold back to go forward to where you want to be.

That's fantastic, you've done so well. You're so close to being debt free, don't throw it away now!Debt on 1st August 2013 - £9842.03
Current debt - £9425.710 -
I thought I'd had a LBM years ago, and paid off my debts, but I was wrong and a combination of 'wanting' things, moving house and trying to keep up with others has meant that I am back where we started.
It was only because I was living with my parents that I managed to pay off my debts easily last time, but having a proper LBM and realising you are going to have to work hard to fix things and change your way of life is a totally debt-free journey.
Only now I know I have had my LBM, and am so determined to get there. I'm now constantly checking what I buy, reading and making plans with ideas from the forum and the thought of being debt-free by the end of next year, in time for Christmas, is a big goal for me. I have started shopping at Lidl, meal planning, going without things, planning ahead etc and so far I'm don't feel like I'm missing out too much. I plan to have a few treats every now and then - new bag, a haircut or a pack of biscuits, but everything within reason and not on the cards!
My debt-free journey has only just begun - I owed £10,504.89 and my current debt stands at £9998.0 -
