I wish OP every failure on the part of the DCA's in proving their case.

Why? His brother (from what he says) comitted fraud against these companies, and he now wants to abet him in that. Why should he expect other people to pay for his brother's crimes?

He says that family is more important to him than a "few quid", but from what he's posted, that doesn't seem to be the case at all.

So, personally, I hope that they nail him.

its a fact your brother has dropped you in pile of poo. your credit record will now have a number of defaults on it. IF no payment has been made and your denying its your debt then its possible to have a fraud marker against your name. now if one of those DCA goes to court you will lose. you simply don't have a defense.

feel free to threaten me but its a fact your brother is a thief. If he gets away with it your not helping him your teaching him that he can do it again as nothing happens. he will be heading for jail because your soft. if you love him make him responsible for his actions.
  • Not going to happen. I'd rather go to prison first.

    You won't go to prison.

You could, however, end up having the debt deducted direct from your salary.

One way or another, you will end up paying the money.
