Freebie or Competition?

There seems to be confusion over what is a freebie and what is a competition.

MSE Andrea states that a freebie is a giveaway with over 1,000 'prizes' on a first come first served basis.

There's this one posted today (wrongly) https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4758465

and there was another picked up on earlier this week that I can't find now.

So the comp shown above is a comp, not a freebie. Is that right?

    i would agree it's a comp

some incorrect posts are posted in the freebie section first and then moved by a BG into the comp section if they're not classified as freebies, using the 1000 rule, which is why some have the wrong format

I'd say that one should be in the kitchen (spam/self promo) but otherwise in comps.

agree with you, I've noticed a few recently that have been moved from freebies into comps board,
in freebies they don't have the title the 'E: Date'
so when they get moved to the comps board it looks like it's the op that hasn't posted correctly when it isn't.
please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png
