Barlcays Mortgage Deafult 19/11/2010

I went to get a Mortgage with Barclays but got declined because of a default £479 pounds on 19/10/2010.. its been settled but on my report now. Barclays criteria says that a default over 3 years old is ignored.. does this mean on the 19/11/2013 I can go for a mortgage?

It does not mean you will necessarily pass credit score in November 2013. It just means that factor is no longer an issue.

But the default will still have a detrimental effect on your "overall" credit score.

I would be surprised if the date arises and this changes to a pass from a fail.

Any reason you have to use Barclays and any other details on your case and there may be options now

Unfortunately it is not as simple as me (or anyone) throwing you a load of lender names as not the way it works.

What % deposit do you have?
