Advice needed on credit rating for mortgage purposes

  • Thanks pania, hope you were running for a good reason ;)

The original defaults were 4 years ago next month. I defaulted on one payment for each lender (under the advice of B&E) then started the DMP. The late payment will be 3 years come November. Apart from that I haven't missed a payment.

The good news is that the loan from the family member has been given the OK, so I will be clear by the time of the mortgage application which will be in about 2 months (and free from B & F**ing E :j )

I've budgeted the £3k for all the costs. For our current house we were 1st time buyers and all the fees came to under £800. Am I being a little naive here with regards to the costs of selling?

Thanks for your advice. It's much appreciated!
