Hi, overnight it seems that I can no longer open pdf files with Adobe! when I click on open file I get a grey screen come up for a few seconds and then it goes off.
I have windows 7 and as fasr as I am aware I have done nothing or downloaded nothing that would cause this problem.
Any ideas please.

Maybe try: Right click the PDF -> open with, make sure it opens with Adobe?
Failing that, reinstall Adobe, or some other PDF reader (Personally I like SumatraPDF)0 -
I'd get rid of Adobe and install Foxit (which I did and haven't looked back since.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
Any posts are my opinion and only that. Please read at your own risk.0 -
I get the grey screen when i try to view a PDF online. I can download it in a few seconds yet adobe takes several minutes to display the same file. What is adobe doing to take so long?
Foxit works better for me. And downloading the PDF rather than opening it online is better.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Rather than suggesting that you dump the software, can I ask you to do something with it...
Don't click on a PDF, instead go to your start menu, then programs, then find adobe acrobat and open the program. When it opens up it may prompt you to accept terms and conditions. Once you've done that, you can close it down and the PDFs will open normaly again.
...at least that's what used to be the solution to the problem.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
