    I think possibly I was on holiday when the whole kitchen cabinet thing happened and now I feel left out with all these references to it.

    Was this a special sort of spammer on the loans board?

    Every few days a clutch of posts appear on various boards with titles like "Cheap kitches - Arboath / Nottingham / Devon / ...". They don't last long (the posts that is, and probably the kitchens too).
    loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
