Hello,

We are in the throws of:
Remortaging property with new bank
Taking my partners ex off the mortgage and deeds

My girlfriend and I are concerned about the documents her ex will receive and what information is included in the documents he will have to sign. In short, the deposit came solely from her side of the family and he had contributed nothing. But as you're all aware his name is down as 50% of the joint mortgage, we are concerned solely with the fact that we are dealing with paying him on amicable terms, for his money put into paying for tools etc to do up the property.He is amicable so far but are concerned the documents he signs will say things like;
How much the property is now worth,
My name being the new person going onto the deeds
In short _ things that will make him try to take as much money as he can.
