Any chance of re-mortgaging?

Hi,
My husband and I would really like to move to a different area but due to past circumstances, do not think we've got a chance of getting another mortgage.
Earnings; Him 40-45k per year self employed, me 48k employed.
Currently 100k approx equity in home, 100k current mortgage.
He previously had some quite bad cc debt which is now very near finished (Nov/Dec)
I've had some defaults but now runs smoothly with none.
We have 10 k savings, but can pretty much double that by Feb on our calculations.
Any advice appreciated.

It is diffuicut to say from what we have here what can be done, but there are specialist lenders that can usually help given that amount of equity and income.

Agreed as above.
Worth noting that when you say remortgage, you actually mean moving home I think which is a new mortgage.
Should be achievable on the face of it.

You're right, I do mean a new mortgage. If we clear the final cc debt and do not have any more defaults, any idea if this might make getting the mortgage more straight forward?
Basically, I'm asking for a few key things we need to do.
Thanks in advance.0
