Equidebt

Hi, I not sure if this is the right place, but I need some advice. I have been making payments to equidebt for the last couple of years but have missed the last three payments because of to many things to go into here. I know they have gone into administration and cabot have taken over the debt but I still haven't received a letter saying the debt has passed to them, so should I still pay or not?

I would wait for a letter before paying.
How olds the account and what for?:beer:0 -
Hi there
Without knowing the full picture, it's nonetheless safe to say that the debt itself won't cease to exist as a result of Equidebt's liquidation - someone will inherit their right to recover monies owed to them.
As per happy_bunny's advice, I would be inclined to wait for written contact giving details of payment methods and/or payment slips before resuming your payments. The "new" creditor may attempt to seek a higher rate of payment but by all means stick to your previous offer if your circumstances have not changed.
