7 Years On - I Finally Done It!

Hi everyone I originally posted about my debt situation back in September 2006 in this thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/259181
Long story short at the time I was £23,493.57 in debt, I had no job, no bank account, was at my wits end and the future looked very grim! Writing that original post that night back in 2006 I was shaking, tearful and could see no way of ever turning things around.
Well I managed to get myself a steady job and have been there now for 6.5 years. I made arrangements with all my creditors to make monthly payments to them. Now almost 7 years to the day I am pleased to say that I am just off the phone to Moorcroft Debt Recovery having made my final debt payment to them. I am now debt free and I cannot tell you how great it feels to be able to say that!! :j
I haven't posted much on here but just reading the threads and advice posted by others has been a great support and inspiration over the years. Thank you.
To those just beginning their debt free journey I wish you the best of luck. Its a bit of a cliche but if I can do it you can too! No matter how dark things seem at the beginning there is light at the end of the tunnel - you can and will do it!
Just have to say it again as it feels so good. I am debt free! :T
