sounds really exciting Kath. Shows there is such a big world out there to explore when we see everyone going off to do such wonderful things.

another one pulling up a comfy chair and asking the barman for an iced water.

Very tired today. Late night last night, can't stop yawning.

also got a call and the solicitors have completed on my new mortgage - bye bye 8.03%!

Not sure how but there was £637 left over after the figures were done apparently and they have a cheque to send me so i'm going to stick it in my mortgage free savings pot.

They always over estimate stuff to account for fees etc. I calculated it, stuck an extra £200 as a fudge factor and the BS stuck an extra grand on top of that....

Good luck and bon voyage to all our leavers. If anyone sees the people we haven't seen in a while (to name names - Moozie) remember to send them back...

 I'm jealous! I really want to do this before my degree, is it Camp USA?

I'm doing it through BUNAC, one of my friends went with Camp America and he said he had no problems with them but there were people on the camp doing the same job as him getting paid more because they went through BUNAC.

You should definitely do it! Obviously I'll be able to recommend it properly after I've been :rotfl: And a moneysaving tip - with BUNAC you get a discount on the fees if you apply early (i.e. before Christmas) :D

Kath that's awesome I hope you have a great time. My OH is applying for jobs all over the US at the moment. Not sure why, not even sure I'm invited:rotfl: oh hang on, I'm the money so I'm bound to get dragged along. He wants out of the UK music industry, fair enough, but last week we were moving to canada, now it's maybe Denver, Nashville, southern California. Probably end up in Bognor though:rolleyes:
