I've put my other half's dry clean only suit on a hand wash with a teeny amount of detergent and hung it up in the shower before. It worked but it was nerve wracking at first!"We always find something, hey Didi, to give us the impression we exist?" Samuel Beckett, Waiting for Godot.

I have washed my son's dry clean only pants on a 30 degree hand wash a few times. There's no way they are being dry cleaned when he only wears them for one day.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

If it's an expensive blazer with lots of wear left in it I wouldn't want to take a risk. Perhaps you could sponge out any marks and give it a good blow on the line until you can get it cleaned.
It depends on what it's made of, what lining/padding/stiffening it has.
I only hand wash dry cleanable stuff after I've had my moneysworth out of them.0 -
Most of the stuff you buy has a dry clean only, label to protect the manufacture,r not because it is dry clean only. I wash everything that says dry clean only and I haven't had any mishaps YET!!!0
