Minecraft - Multiplayer

Hi,
I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction.
I recently bought my son 'Minecraft'. He loves it.
His freind came round and they wanted to play 'split screen' on multiplayer.
Looking through the options, multiplayer had to be played in 'HD mode'.
The game is cuurently in 'Creative mode'.
How do we change it so two players can play at the same time?
Spent over an hour last night checking every available option, but no luck.
I'm no expert by any means, (bit of a novice tbh), but surely it can't be that hard to convert it?
When we opened it, (took sealed wrapper off), there was no instruction booklet inside either....
Any help would be make two little boys very happy. Thank you xx

Someone gave instructions on how to do this on the Xbox forums, http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_live_arcade/l_o/minecraft/f/2414/t/383831.aspx
Hope this helps.

you'll need an HDMI cable for the xbox then you simply follow these steps
Go to the Settings hub, and then select System.
Select Console Settings.
Select HDTV Settings.
Select the resolution that is supported for your HDTV.
Note Optimal Resolution is the default option when an HDMI cable is used. This option allows the HDTV and Xbox 360 console to determine the best setting.
Select Yes to confirm the change.0 -
