Bread Flour

Apologies if I have posted on wrong board or missed a post. I had run out of bread flour so popped into Lidl where I normally get it but the price had gone up to £1.19 :eek: (I also think it was a different brand) I know I can make more than a loaf out of a packet but I'm sure last time I bought some it was only £0.79! Are there any offers on bread flour that anyone knows about? (I know wheat is expensive!)

Yes, they changed the brand or packaging, but the normal bread flour is still £0.79. You were looking at the WHOLEMEAL bread flour, which they sell for a few months now. The green packaging is the normal and the red the wholemeal one.

If you use a lot Amazon has some good flour deals delivered free.

Thanks for that will have another look when I'm next in there. There were definitely red & green packets but only one price. We've never had wholemeal in ours before, so will pick some up.
