Hello, everyone, here i had a question. I bought a new PS3 from online shop eachbyte.com and this is my very first console I ever bought. The one I got is a brand new, factory-sealed PS3 with the 20gb drive.
I'd like to know the following: is the hard disk large enough for me to install the 3 games I bought (Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas) at the same time?
Thanks for your replies !!:j

Should be ok.
Swapping the hard discs in PS3's is actually very easy, and described in the instruction manual. If you do find yourself running low on space, you can just swap the HDD out for a cheap (£30-£50) 2.52 SATA drive and have as much space as you want.0 -
I believe all three games are in the region of 4.5GB, so you're looking at 13.5GB or so required. If memory serves me correctly with a 20GB HDD in your PS3 you should get about 15GB of space you can actually use so it should all fit on there providing you don't want to put any other things on your PS3.
Double check though, is it actually a 20GB or the new 12GB? They haven't made 20GB for years so it seems relatively unlikely you'd get a factory sealed one somewhere now.
As Weird Nev says swapping the HDD in a PS3 is very easy to do (providing it isn't the new 12GB which doesn't come with the caddy you need to put a HDD so you'll need to source one of those) and a decent sized drive won't cost you much.0 -

u mean the real space maybe less than what they said:(if so, thats so bad:(0 -
The drive will be the size they said, but I imagine the ps3 uses some of the space for its own purposes.0

Yeah, you'll lose some space initially to the disk being formatted, then a little more for the PS3's operating system. You'll probably end up with about 15gb usable space.0

beenle isn't really asking for advice. He's just a spammer advertising a crappy Chinese website which doesn't even sell the PS3.
