Yes, my ex has twice paid small lump sums. One was for the regular maintainance and the other was towards his arrears.
When a regular, expected payment and a regular, expected arrears payment (they are always separate payments for me) are first deposited into my account they will show up on my bank statement as DWP1223454566
When a one-off lump sum first enters my account it shows up as a MP02BACS1223343455.
After about 2 days all deposits change on my statement (online) to DWP CHILD SUPPORT - nice and easy to understand! I'm with Natwest.
Luckily I knew they were coming but I was still wondering for a while who deposited this extra money into my account as I wasn't given exact figures when my case manager called to tell me to expect them.
I have no explanation for the change in naming where the money comes from, I guess it's something to do with how the payment is received and then settled into your account (Am I talking a load of nonsense!!!)
I hope this helps.Dave Ramsey Fan[/COLOR]0
