What time can I expect the money to be in my account?

Hi All,

Have taken out a secured loan, adviser says the money will be in my account by close of play today - any idea on when I can expect to see it? Refreshing my account balance is driving me crazy!

Depends how they are sending the money

If it's by faster payment, it should be within 2 hours of the transaction being sent.

If it's by CHAPS, by close of business today, ie 5pm, but often around 3.30.

By internal transfer - when ever they put the transaction on their systems.

There's plenty of day left yet, so give it a few more hours !

Thanks, just really important we get it today I will breath a sigh of relief when it comes through... maybe I can expect it about 3.30 as I would imagine its CHAPS - is 3.30 the normal time??
