Do spin dryers mean your clothes need a lot more ironing?

I am thinking of getting a spin dryer as our washing machine spin cycle is rubbish (1400), but I have to do a spin cycele if I wash anything on quick wash as it is only a 800rpm spin on that cycle.

Although the clothes come out of a spin dryer quite dry, do they need a lot more ironing?

If you give them a good shake as soon as you take them out they're not too bad. But it's a pain to spin a whole washer load of clothes because you can only so a limited amount at a time and you have to stand there the entire time.

That's ok, I spend most of my life in the kitchen!

I was looking at a 4kg one so would just split the washing into two lor three loads (I have a 8kg washer).

Your 8kg load in the washing machine is dry weight, the spin dryer is wet weight, you'll have to split it into a lot more than 2/3 loads.

I only use the spin dryer if I'm going to use the tumble dryer afterwards, so it wouldn't make more ironing then. If they're going to be dried outside then I don't spin them.
