This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

There is nothing nicer than going into a freshly changed bed and comfy mattress, after a long soak in the bath or a quick shower.
My mattress was getting to the stage - a bit uncomfortable, and mattress in the spare room was almost new, so switched them, bought a fleecy teddy mattress topper and new bed linen, kept my pillows as so used to them, but bought pillow protectors and loving it.
If you fancy a new mattress, then go for it, sometimes we just need to treat ourselves.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -
I did actually buy the mattress. It will take 5 to 6 weeks to arrive. I'm going to buy new bedlinen to. A bit part of me thinks I should be saving for the uncertain future, and then another part of me thinks just do it. The just do it won yesterday. Plus the company have a 100 night guarantee if I bought a mattress protector from them ...so I did ...and I have a while to check if I like it.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Watty, I've been away for a few days, so I read all of this in one go
I'm so sorry to hear what's been happening. I'm glad you bought the mattress, at least! A comfortable, positive sleeping environment is a good thing to establish at any time, let alone when you're living through such pain ... I hope it arrives really quickly.

The session was kind of helpful. Mr Watty and I are not on the same page at all. He is in some kind of crisis that actually has very little to do with the other woman. But the other woman rings and messages daily so that is just prodding me with a stick.
Overall the session helpful in that I can see we are very very far apart. We have agreed to go back in a fortnight. I would prefer to go back weekly but the woman was not available next week. Afterwards Mr Watty apologised for being so mixed up himself. That was very sad for me to see and hear.

A friend has offered me one of the properties she owns to rent. It is a small two bedroom annex, not that nice, but, it is on a farm and I could take the horses with me and they could board at the farm's livery yard. The decision about whether to hang in here or just leave Mr Watty to his mid life crisis is a big one. Leaving seems such a big step to take when he says he still loves me .....and says he wants to work on us as a couple but then in counselling says he isn't sure what he wants.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

No words of wisdom I'm afraid, but mucho sympathy. It must be so hard to make a decision/see where you're going.
Could you move out for a couple of months to give you both some space or do you think that would make things worse?

I'm tempted to agree with themadvix, it doesn't have to be permanent, just a bit of breathing space to look after yourself.Mortgage Apr 18 £417,894 BTL Mar 18 £162,857
