Someone has sent me a very snotty email saying she will never work with me again. The reason? I required her to pay her outstanding bill. It was over 4 months old! Given that the time before I had to wait 9 months for payment I am delighted she will not work with me again
Have checked the payment is now in the bank account and feel much better after sending a reply to point out that I am a small company that has to pay suppliers and it is not cost effective for me to wait months for money and chase her up repeatedly. I added I was sorry she had so much going on in her life (she has continually been emailing me her problems which frankly I couldn't care less about as I just wanted my bill paid) and wished her a speedy resolution.
Am astounded she even thinks I would want her to work with me
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
But you were honoured to work for free because she is a Special Snowflake!0

Fantastic progress Watty and love the dressing gown and wellies look

I have to agree, some customers just aren't worth the hassle, sounds like you are much better off without that one.
Have a great weekend.0 -

Excellent that she's paid! And I'm sure I used to read things about maximising your output as a self employed person that said basically what you're saying - refuse any repeat business from clients who are complete pains, and that makes space for the ones who appreciate you and pay promptly.
Hope you've got some enjoyable stuff planned this weekend
