Ls8male unfortunately the CSA don't have a heart, but this actually works both ways. Many parents both the NRP and the PWC have been screwed over by them.Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

THAT IS A COMPLETE LIE, but it should come as no surprise that the CSA lied to you. They do it routinely, it's normal behaviour for them. There has been no change to the legislation whatsoever, the law states that arrears are negotiable.... I didnt recieve anythink till May 2007 saying they wanted 40% of my wages due to a new legislation for arrears. The total they want now is £206.00 a month. Not a chance I dont think this is fair and where is the rights and justice to see my eldest boy. ...Information is not knowledge.

If you are under CS1 it was very common to get nil assessments, this was partly the reason they introduced CS2. If you are under CS2, you must be one of the very few exempt categories, such as being a student.0 -
To start of C.S.A wanted £80 a month and £20 for arrears total £100 month.
Now they said the new law they can take upto 40% of my wages i told the simply i cannot afford it they said they can do it no lower than 20% and that is what they are now going to get.
So my C.S.A payments have nearly doubled.
My Income: Wage £850 net(per month) WTC £130 per month Total £980
Bills: Rent £200 per month
Council Tax £80 per month
Loan Repayment £130 per month
C.S.A £190 per month
Utility Bills £100 per month
Car Insurance £50 per month
Other Bills i.e phone,internet £50 per month
Total £800
So this leaves £50 = £450 Child tax credits (My girlfriend recieves) = £500 / 4 = £125 a week to feed and clothe my family thats it *lmao* nowt left.
There is no point me working!
The CSA is considered in law, to be a priority debt, and so would be listed higher than the loan repayments, utility bills and other bills even though you have to pay them. THis is because you can't go to prison for not paying your other bills. Not defending, just saying. If you could say what the total amount of arrears they say you owe is, then we can perhaps try and get somewhere to help you negotiate?0 -
