Petrol is one area that can't really be cut down. I spend £55 a week and commute. I guessed £125 per month for OH but will keep an eye on what he does actually need / spend on petrol this month to make sure that is accurate!0 -
You're doing £1200/month on clothing, entertainment, presents, haircuts, holiday. .
Or put it another way, that's £14400 a year, which is what before tax ? Add that to what you spend getting to work, and one of you could have a year off :rotfl:
I'd set a target of Saving £12000 in 12 months, as a one off exercise. No clothes, no entertainment, no presents (go in the loft and repackage the stuff you don't want), no holidays, less hair cuts.
Just do it for 1 year. Rather than scratch the surface.0 -
