hi there - please will someone give me a clue about matched betting - sounds really good - i don't want to miss out as i am doing the challaenge.
£1.50 today quidco and should have £15 from betting on quidco too (though not sure as didn't quite manage to input and use £10 - I used £8 as deposited paypal fund and cos they take the fee off you lose about 16p, then can't use £10 for bet - and minimum bet is £2) grrr.
thanks for all other help - i am well impresseed with what i have managed so far - though enjoy the gambling a bit too much! jaquie

quidco has notorious problems with ebay. If i want any cash back I use nectarpoints ( via sainsburys) seem abit more reliable, lots of people have lost out on the quidco version of cashback.

todays announcement from me- I with the skilful and patient-as-a-saint help and guidance from Dee who is pure :A :A :A :A :A :A for being so AMAZING with me today, I think I finally have "got" matched betting and my bets are placed :T :T :T :T :T :T

many many thanks to Dee, who has just been FABULOUS!
thank you for the tip - do you mean buying ebay stuff by going to nectar points, or in general? thanks. jauqie. What is matched betting? jaquie.

Jacquie - google for nectarestores. You use that in the same way as quidco. click through.

Matched betting- thers is a whole forum on Gambling intrioductions & loopholes. DO have a good read before jumping in. Its took me 7 months to get ready to place my first bets, so babysteps is the way to go when risking money.

    Hi everyone

So sorry for not being around recently. I will have to update my totals a bit later although I've not done anything major to add to it. I've got so much stuff to sell but my Ebay account has been hijacked and now suspended!!

I'm going to have to use my boyfriends later on today to list some stuff.

Well done everyone - you've all done so well :D :T

Might as well do my totals again now:

    AQA - £143.40
    Change - £8.00
    Mystery Shopping - £19.70
    Quidco - £38.45
    Ebay - £221.00
    Yougov - £2.00
    Other - £258.50

    Total - £691.05

Was hoping I had broken through the £700 mark. I've sold some more bits and pieces in the paper and have got more going in tomorrow which should boost my total a bit.

I've got around 5 mystery shops lined up which will get me around £26 in total plus a few freebies.

I will also try and Ebay some more stuff tonight, I've got a couple of Xbox 360 games, barbecue, some DVD boxsets and other stuff to list so I reckon if I can shift all that then I'll reach my target.

Hello Emily, nice to see you back on the boards and hope you and your gorgeous little niece are well.

I've just returned from a mystery shop, I was quite nervous as I had to buy an appliance - put £550 on my card and then return to get a refund. The SA said during the job said I hope ur not a mystery shopper but he did not suss me and when I returned and unmasked myself (sounds like something out of scooby doo) I was told he has been mshopped alot recently.

Anyway, that is another £16.50 towards my total.

I also did my weekly shop and by using vouchers that my sister was going to bin I managed to get 1/3 knocked off my total shopping bill.

Unfortunately, due to weather did not do my car boot but quidco total is now: £179.86

still no bidders on my ebay items but 2 watchers. I entered a few competitions last night so fingers crossed

    Thanks Welshy

Ellie is doing really well, she's now up for 6lbs 4oz :D .

I had to do a mystery shop like that where I had to go as far as when I had to pay and then reveal myself as a mystery shopper. I was really nervous too but it wasn't as bad as I thought and the fee was £10 which was great for around an hours work!!

I'm busily trying to get some stuff together for my boyfriend's flat, he moves in on the 31st and has very little. I managed to bag an old ironing board from Freecycle and just bought a new cover for it for £1.47 so it looks as good as new. I've also got a 2 seater sofa for him (from Freecycle) which we just need to arrange a van for. My boyfriend thinks I'm nuts, I'm trying to kit him out with the least amount of money possible - it's fun!!

Ooh, just seen a brand new set of pans on Freecycle - fingers crossed!! :D
