    the 11th

I'm deffo not going to make it but think I've done really well all the same :D

I've got a MB freebie of £25 to stick on today, think I'll take my time this week and find a good ARB so that I get the whole lot back rather than take a loss.

Doc/Lynz, which bookie should I go on to now, I've used Sportingbet and odds but unfortunately already a member of Corel so can't take advantage of that one. I'm getting worried about the SNR bookies cos I really want to take my profits out of BF to take on holiday with me and so won't have the float in BF to take long odds. Help!!

The quidco money from the beginning of the challenge is starting to come through now, I've done 6 mystery shops this week and am signed up for another 2 already this week. I will no way make the £1k but I'm proud of all I've done so far :D

I think I'm just gonna have to start all over again when I get paid at the end of the month. Shame to take the float out of BF but it would be useful when we go away next week. I had to spend all my holiday spending money savings on getting the car fixed. Just one of those things I guess, anyway, I'll be back up to where I am now in a month or so's time

well, Ive just opened one of them legal & general isas with quidco. Gutted that my inertia has meant that my cashback is now only 85 quid as opposed to 110 which it was earlier in the month :wall: but there you go!

I opened it with 500, so I know that wont really be that helpful for others among us who dont have that sort of money kicking about, but if you are saving for Xmas/ car tax/ etc and you do have 500 laying around, it might be an idea to take this offer before it drops off again.

I've been trying to figure out which bookie to do next too. I've used my sp.odds/bet winnings to clear a cc balance that I want to b/t onto instead of 'investing' it in betfair so I haven't got the float to do SNRs yet either. I stumbled across this thread on the loopholes board which lists SR bookies, so I'm thinking I'll try to work my way through that. Will have a proper look when I get home tonight.

Not looking like I'm going to make the £1k mark by Saturday but I'm still chuffed to pieces at how much I've made in such a short space of time - it's been a great challenge :T There's still a bit of time yet too, so I'm gonna pull out all the stops and get as close to the grand as I can!

I haven't posted for awhile on here, but today have sorted out:

a mothercare 3 wheeler pram, footmuff and raincover, a graco baby swing with instructions, a baby seat, a baby rocker and a baby playmat, and a baby rucksack which should net me around the £125 mark (it all came from my sis and it's all immaculate so it's pure profit for me). The adverts have just been typed up and will be placed free of charge in local papers.

quidco is now up to £221 although a few are not tracking still.

I have now raised over £1,000 because:

as some of you may know we have had the builders with us since November and it's been at times very testing. Anyway, in my kitchen we have an old antique unit with a belfast sink with brass taps with french writing on. Well, I was going to dismantle the unit and use the belfast sink as a planter in my garden for mint, sage and rosemary etc. Just on the off chance we had it priced up by a local antique dealer and he has offered me £585 for it !!!! and is picking it up within the next week.

so that means I have successfully completed the challenge !

thanks to everyone for the motivation and tips - it has been lovely spending time and sharing ideas with everyone on here and I would love to join you all on the next challenge.

    big hugs Welshy x
