eBay selling limits...?

Hello!
I'm having a clear out and I've started posting things on eBay to create space and make a few quid.
I've only been allowed to post 10 listings for the whole month until I receive a letter from eBay and confirm something.
Is this normal? If anyone can let me know about this I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks!

I started selling video games which were gathering dust due to lack of use and found that I was limited to selling around five a month. Since discovered that certain categories you are limited for a while.0 -
Thanks guys. It would seem I have an account-based allowance, and until I get this letter and confirm my details with eBay, I can't put any more listings up.
So much for my productive Sunday

Yes but after sorting the letter you go up to 100 items or £3,500 worth of sales. Itcan be done in just a few clicks and the letter arrives very quickly.
I'm listing several things every week and the second chance offer facility is superb.0
