Kale is lovely stir-fried with garlic and something piggy - I'm doing it with chorizo tonight, but bacon (particularly smoked) is good too. Chard is good done the same way, or with tomatoes as a Mediterranean-y side dish (that's probably what I'd go for to accompany the sausages).
I'll give my usual recommendation for using up courgettes: grate and fry with garlic, bacon and some fresh herbs (tarragon is particularly good) until soft and slightly browned. Mix with cooked pasta and some soft cheese (philadelphia-type), put in a dish and top with sliced tomatoes and some grated cheese. Bake until bubbly and golden. It's about the only way I actually enjoy courgettes.
Bin the cauliflower as it's disgusting no matter what you do with it.Back after a very long break!0 -
