Oh my days, made the chilli jam earlier. It is truly scrumptious.
Will need to make more as kids love it so much. Will do another batch for Christmas.0 -
For the cookies, if you want them fresh throughout the week then you can make up the dough, portion it into small balls and spread out on a lined baking sheet as if you were going to bake them, but then freeze them. Once they're individually frozen they can then be bagged/boxed and kept frozen and then you can just take them out of the freezer throughout the week as you need them.
They can then be cooked from frozen, they just a few extra minutes.Despite the name, I'm actually a laydee!0 -

These vege saus rolls are delicious and can be frozen before cooking and baked when people arrive. Any leftover mixture can be fried in patties, seriously yum and very popular with meat eaters and veggies.... In fact I might have to go and make some for lunch!

It is lush. I'm going to experiment and try to do a sugar free version. No idea if it would work / set.Bossymoo

Now I have never made them, but always fancied trying. They sound quite nice.
I DO recommend Nigella's chilli jam - I made some last year after everyone on here raved about it and it is delicious - especially on ham or cheese. It makes a few jars depending on size and keeps for a few months unopened.
