On your keyboard press the Print Screen button (top row of buttons - far right next to Scroll Lock)
Go to your Windows Start Menu (Windows logo bottom left of desktop).
In the Search box of the Windows Start Menu, type Paint
Click on the Paint program icon
Whilst in Paint press Ctrl + V (at the same time) on your keyboard. This should paste the screenshot.
Save the picture (Ctrl + S or use top menu).

If you need to upload the screenshot online then http://imgur.com/ is good. You can just drag and drop the image from your desktop onto the Imgur homepage and then you'll get upload options. Then after uploading sharing options.

Hi mum1964, are you on a windows pc/laptop? If you go to the menu and then click all programs. Click on accessories folder and then 'Snipping Tool'. You literally drag the tool around the screen, creating a box on what you wish to copy.

I then use photobucket but many people use imgur, like rao suggested

just cant do it don't think my lappy is very good. I have got bt tec support so will ring them and get them to talk me through it.
Yes I do have teenagers but I cant get no joy from them.y
